DESCRIPTION:It’s time to celebrate Art and the New Year! \nThe Alexander House warmly invites you to an Opening Reception on\n Friday\, January 10\, 2025\, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.\nThis special exhibit will feature:\n “Holy Ground”: Paintings by Anne Horjus\, Baraboo\, Wisconsin https://annehorjus.com/\n with\n “Cultivation: Vessels for Gathering”: Ceramics by Kyle Hendrix\, Milwaukee\, Wisconsin https://www.hendrixceramics.com/\n Meet the artists in person as they share stories about their work and creative journeys.\n  \nDuring the Reception enjoy live music performed by members of the Lincoln High School Orchestra. They will play pieces inspired by the book “Sleep”\, illustrations by Anne Horjus and choral work by composer Eric Whitacre. The book will be available for purchase.  \nRefreshments will be provided. \nThe exhibition runs until February 18\, 2025\, with gallery hours on \n Sundays\, Tuesdays\, and Thursdays\,1:00–4:00 p.m.\, or by appointment. \n \n                             \n \n                                             \n  \n \n  \n                                                    \n \n \n   \n \n
